Weekend routine

The weekend gives Commando Dad and his troopers some well-earned time for R&R. Relaxation is important for you all. Life can be busy and it is good for your troopers to see you taking time to relax and just be together.

At the weekend exercise flexibility in relation to your established routines. Daily tasks such as getting-up times, mealtimes and dressing routines are all areas that can be relaxed. However, certain tasks should remain, whatever the day. For example, a toilet visit and hand-washing should precede mealtimes and teeth-brushing should follow breakfast and happen just before bed.

Plan your weekend activities beforehand. This allows you to make any special arrangements and sort out extra equipment or supplies you may need.
